What is a Core Support Budget?

Assisting participants with their everyday necessities, and consumables. These allocated funds, support participants in their daily life. For example, transportation, and food. It provides participants with the basic support that they need to achieve their life goals.

Where can I really spend my Core Support Budget?

You can use your core funds for therapy sessions, or even buying an Ipad. But the question is how? If you are based remotely and need to access therapy sessions that you cannot attend physically or face-to-face. You can really invest in an IPAD. Moreover, the flexibility of this budget not only opens up many possibilities for you. But it also lets an individual with using their funding, across all categories except category two – for transport.

You can also book yourself for a stay in Short Term Accommodation (STA) to give yourself a break from your usual surroundings. This is also inclusive of all kinds of support and assistance provided to you at STA.

One important thing to keep in mind is the flexibility of this budget, which is to use the same management solutions for all your support. Moreover, you should also explore more information and opportunities to utilize your core support effectively.
